Clickbank's BBB Grade is D

I just had to laugh when I saw this. I was doing some work on the Conduit Method and for whatever reason I ended up on the BBB site and ran a search on Clickbank. There's actually two Clickbank companies; one registered in Idaho and one in Illinois. Idaho is the obvious one this site is about, even though both are the same company.

Here's the link. I'm not sure if it works since I had to search. You can do the search yourself by going to http://search.bbb.org and search Clickbank.

Here's a screen of it, saved for ever!

I thought there was some good information on this page to post, so it doesn't disappear down the memory hole.

I always wondered what the Better Business Bureau had to say about Clickbank - cool info! Did you see this today on the Warriorforum? A Clickbank publisher sees someone getting a refund very quickly and contacts them to see why they refunded. Turned out that Clickbank charged them TWICE for the product, so the guy sought a refund for the second billing. He didn't want the entire thing refunded because he actually liked the product and wanted to keep it. He just wanted the erroneous double billing charge removed from his credit card. Guess what! The publisher's account only said he made ONE sale, not two - and when the customer refunded the double billing, the publisher now received NO money for the one true sale. Clickbank is totally caught here shaving the guy's commission. Pretty sneaky - double bill the customer, refund them once (not twice) and keep the extra commission for themselves! http://www.warriorforum.com/main-internet-marketing-discussion-forum/52905-interesting-clickbank-problem.html

Thanks for pointing out the WF post. I didn't get a chance to browse that yet today. It doesn't surprise me one bit that they're shaving, based on my results. The sales that show up on my account must only be ones that have been double billed. lol

Hello, have seen them bill he customers card twice a few times. One time it was 3 hrs apart. So I contacted the customer and asked if he purchased the product at a different time thinking the first sale didn't go through. He replied a few days later and told me he was charged for the same product 4 different times that same day. He was very pissed of and said he was getting a refund and going to report the transactions as fraud. Clickbank is doing some bogus scamming practices and they need to be dealt with.
